I don't know where World Cup gets the idea that the U.S. doesn't accept immigrants from around the World...I can't think of another nation that has accepted more immigrants from around the World, and adopted them as their own. Perhaps World Cup should ask why doesn't Saudi Arabia accept immigrants from around the World? Saudi Arabia won't even let Palestinians immigrate to their country- the same Palestinians that they claim to love so much.

Problem is they do use government benefits like the health system, if they have kids that are born in the country the kids are automatically American citizens and get free schooling, they pay almost no taxes, and most send their money out of the country to Mexico. Those are the good ones that are "law-abiding". The bad ones spread disease and commit crime. Uncontrolled immigration would be a disaster. canada's "controlled" immigration is bad enough.

Not really. They contribute far, far more than they take. It's an economic fact that our area would grind to a halt without them.

Whether an illegal immigrant contributes far, far more than he/she takes is immaterial to my agrument.

I'm sure many, probably most, illegal immigrants are good, decent people who just want an opportunity to achieve some measure of success and prosperity, but the fact stands that they are illegal immigrants, and as such should be immediately deported as soon as they are apprehended.

This is a matter of principle.

If a government is unwilling or unable to enforce a law, then that law becomes meaningless and does belong on the books.

I have no problem with the US preventing its economy from "grinding to a halt" by allowing in those foreigners who have been waiting in line in their home countries for an opportunity to legally immigrate to the US.

If the reason for this arguement is the US should take the cultural burden of immigration off Canada, they should take more immigrants.

I the reason is "lets beech aboult the Yanks", mind your own business.
If Canadians really want the Americans to change, go to the US, get an American citizenship, then go nuts on American policy. This interference in the future of nations by large groups of immigrants is why most persons hostile to immigration are hostile to immigration.

A short question and my thoughts

Who is this World_Cup person?

Seems to me that he/she is nothing more than a flamer with fake English. And if he/she is so interested in this debate (he initiated it), where is he?
