FD Auction - One-of-a-kind Autographed LIARS Shirt!

Postby Connie Fournier » 10/ 06/ 05 12:55 pm

This auction is for a LIARS shirt that was signed by the following Members of Parliament:

Peter MacKay
Vic Toews
Lee Richardson
Jim Prentice
Greg Thompson

It is size XL, but you probably wouldn't want to wear it.

The shirt will be shipped the day after the bidding closes.

What a shame you didn't get Belinda to sign one before she crossed the floor. That would have been awsome.

We did. :(

Mark caught up with her at the convention and asked her to sign a shirt. She signed it, then she stopped and looked at it and said, 'Oh, I don't think I really feel comfortable with my name on that. Can I buy it from you?'

Mark said, 'Oh, that's OK. You can have it.'

My response when he told me: :axe:

Connie, I think that Mark's interaction with Belinda characterizes Belinda to a tee.

Carfix2000ca - if you want to bid, you just need to post your bid on this thread, then people can respond to it. When the activity dies down, we will give a few hours 'going, going, gone', then close the auction.

Doesn't it, though?

It was the last day of the Montreal policy convention in March. I'm still kicking myself in the butt (when I can get a boot in edgewise between Connie's boots.)

We will probably close the bidding Oct. 16th.

Oh man, if you still had it I bet she would pay mega-bucks for it now. You could have funded FD for a generation. A picture of her wearing one would be priceless too.
