Got to make an outing to WallyWorld today with an assortment of the other prisoners...........among other things, I bought some balsamic vinegar and soy sauce and a glass pepper grinder with several types of pepper in it...............all for my "cooking test" that I have to pass before they'll let me fend for myself. Also have to pass a "laundry test". They show you more energy-conservative methods for both, so I get to pick the food............pan seared salmon if things go as planned, with sauteed onions, mushrooms, and broccoli.

Downward trend in my weight as I can FINALLY walk some without the walker....... :)

You best be sending some of that rain our way. My rain barrels are completely empty. I've got about 30 planters to water and tap water just isn't the same. We are in to week two of 30+ (30c is about 86f) temperatures and we're desperately trying to keep the flowers looking decent. Hubby has his garden entered in the local bloom contest so everything must be just right, at least for the next week while judging is taking place.

After today a week of sunshine and I see much the same in NW MT. Foggy here this morning, odd given a sunny day yesterday and a clear night. We sat around the fire here until after midnight. Gorgeous evening.

Take your BiPAP with you JB. If you need a rest during the day, the machine will ensure you get a proper recharge and can play later. I pray you have lots of sun and a gentle breeze to celebrate Independence Day.

"checked out for a few hours yesterday for the festivities at a friend's house................ate WAAAY too much, no imbibing, made out fine for short distances without the walker.

There were about 30 adults there with about a dozen kids.....the adults brought their fireworks and beverages and some GREAT cooking............the kids brought their squirt tubes, swimming trunks, puppies, and enthusiasm...........general bedlam.

The adults had to have spent over $500 worth of sparklers, rockets, aerial shells, and various explosive devices..........it was hard to tell which were the adults and which were the kids after they broke out the artillery..................we all had a pesonal show and then a front row seat for the city fireworks which lasted at least an hour.......a live band was playing down the hill to add to the ambience and in all,

It was ALL good............!!!

I've slept most of the day except for the time spent in PT and OT.......haven't eaten yet............probably won't need to until early Augustk.......... :D  :D

Part of getting older JB - one day of celebration and two days of recovery. The good thing is we still recover and carry on.
