***Time for a quarterly fundraiser of $1350***

Postby styky » 03/ 07/ 12 11:32 am

It's that time again that we had a quarterly fundraiser of $3000. Connie and Mark will be going to court on March the 13th for the Baglow case so I'm taking it on myself to get the ball rolling.
We already received $200. today so we'll take that off top. I'll match that donation so the total need will be brought down to $2600. No donation to large or to small, give what you can.

The mailing address for donations is:

c/o Free Dominion
2000 Unity Rd
Elginburg, ON K0H 1M0

Or, even easier, you can send an email money transfer to connie@freedominion.ca directly through your online banking using Interac:

are still waiting for my boss lady ( That widder-woman I seem to be seeing or whatever the Hell they call that, nowadays ) to pay us for last month's work... and squeaking by on The Dead Miss Emily's death "benefit..."

Nonetheless I can at least raid my grocery account and send you what I did last time.

The rest of you slackers could do the same.

I've always figured if you use something you ought to pay for it.

My books say I owe some $$$ to FD not to mention the bills that came when I was away on holidays and that piled up on my table.

The figure I see is $ 500.

I will get that out.

I am posting here b/c I am unable to private message anyone considering the fact that I am new. Last night I made some posts which are still waiting to be moderated. As far as I can tell I have been following forum rules - nothing inflammatory, no sniping, no personal attacks. Just good honest discussion. Why are my posts still in moderation? Have I broken some rules I am unaware of? I would ask in private message but being new that is unavailable to me:(

I will send a cheque for $100 by snail mail on Tuesday. We have to keep fighting back. Thank you to Mark and Connie for
standing up for us all.

I can't see any posts in moderation. Are you sure you hit "submit" and not just "preview"? Let me know if you have having trouble, but now that this post has been approved, you should be able to post freely.

thanks Connie! I have hit submit in at least 6 posts, and received the message 'this post is in moderation' for every one. And then they never appear on the site! I first posted two weeks ago and then gave up once the post was never published. I just assumed I had said something horribly offensive:(

Well, I found your posts, but I have no idea what went wrong with the software because they didn't go into the moderation queue like it should have. Anyway, they are all approved now. Sorry!
