$600 to go styky wrote:$3,000 YEAR END FUNDRAISER
Connie and Mark have worked hard to keep FD legal expenses reasonable. Connie is acting as FD representative in the Warman copywrite action - however, even acting for yourself in court is expensive. There are printing and transcription fees as well as travel and other out of pocket expenses to cover. There are more hearings and motions to deal with on other actions not yet resolved. Efforts to keep Free Dominion solvent and operating in spite of the efforts of a leftist gang to shut us down are not over.
None of us have a lot of cash to spare at Christmas, but none of us will leave our friends in the lurch, so we propose that we share the burden to the extent that we can. This is the time to roll the change in the jar on the dresser, check the sofa for change lost during the Grey Cup game and share a bit of what we have with our hosts.
Every donation helps to ease the strain and helps us to feel good, which is right and proper at this time of year. Pledges for month end are gratefully accepted; we do not want anyone to go short helping us out.
Your support is what has kept FD alive and we need to call on you once more.
Our fundraising target is $3,000.
In the spirit of sharing the all members who donate $50 or more will receive a Free Dominion lapel pin and the first ten (10) people to donate $150 or more will receive an autographed copy of our Free Dominion cook book.
The mailing address for donations is:
