"Without naming names, Glube alluded to a tempest in Nova Scotia legal circles in 1998 when former justice minister Anne McLellan appointed Liberal fundraiser and party organizer Heather Robertson to the Nova Scotia Supreme Court.

The provincial judicial appointments advisory committee, which vets lawyers' qualifications for the justice minister, had initially determined it was "unable to recommend" Robertson for the bench, but reversed itself when asked to reconsider.

The move sparked the resignation of the committee's judicial member, along with a stiff letter of protest from the Canadian Bar Association admonishing McLellan that attempts "to manipulate the committee to achieve a desired political outcome must not be permitted."

May I request permission to pass on the release to Dave Rutherford and Rob Breakenridge at QR77 Calgary and 630 Ched Edmonton?

Connie has been on Breakenridge's show when both callers afterward were FDers, one of them being me. I'm sure he'll make a point to follow up.

We've already sent it to both of them, Red Dog, but it probably wouldn't hurt for them to get it from an additional source.

By the way, I emailed the webmaster from National Newswatch, and explained to him the differences between the cases. He got back to me right away and thanked me for the information and changed his link to a question. He was hoping that it would generate a discussion. This is good.

I thanked him for the link.

Congratulations and thank you. And keep going. Warman's bag of tricks is diminishing rapidly.

Connie and Mark,
Heartiest congratulations to you and your marvellous lawyer, Barbara Kulaszka, for a stunning victory for all of us who use the web.

A tip of the hat to the three of you for presenting an excellent and convincing case.

Don't you have to be famed before you can be defamed?

Connie and Mark and Barbara

Congratulations!!!

I would also like to say a big thank you for all those who donated to the cause to help Connie and Mark pay the legal costs.

Without that support, this victory would not be so welcomed in Canada.

Let's not forget that when the next request for legal funds to battle for freedoms comes our way.

May God continue to bless the Fourniers in this continuing war.

This is fantastic news for Canada.

I know the hell that this slimeball has put you through, Mark and Connie, and it's nice to see that sometimes the system DOES work.

Wow, that's amazing!!

At times when you are frustrated about the heavy burden place upon both of you, I hope you will think of times like this.

Congratulations.

Now with this great news on the table, any chance of an offensive ... to really drive the message home to them?

Great news!
I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, or free to choose those who shall govern my country. This heritage of freedom I pledge to uphold for myself and all mankind.

In the end we will be launching massive lawsuits against many of the people who have been harassing and defaming us for years and against several federal government institutions. In the interim most of our offense will occur in the courtrooms we are being dragged into with these SLAPP suits.
