How come these thugs got off with a fine? Mary Wagner didn't damage any property or menace anyone, yet she goes to prison. These guys get a free pass from the police to harass and intimidate peaceful citizens until they get tired of it, then a couple of them get a fine.

The justice system is a joke. Even Paul Bernardo didn't get the kind of dressing down Mary Wagner did. What would happen if everyone guilty of an offence was subject to such abuse by a judge. That kind of despicable judicial conduct seems reserved only for those who have qualms with abortion.

In some respects, it was great that the clown let it all spill out and made his views known in open court, where a transcript can now be obtained and published for all the world to see. That will better drive home to people at large the facade of a justice system we have in this country.
