I'm not a huge Steyn fan but that was a fantastic article. Kudos to Steyn.

Only a few comments on the article so far and for the most part, in agreement with the move to get rid of Section 13 but notice the one comment that says it isn't black and white and that there must be a third way. Interestingly, the poster's name is "Godless Lawyer" and the comment is "It's not black and white (or left/right, free/unfree) at all. There's a middle road - but the partisans are too entrenched (and interested in hurling insults at eachother) to notice."

Somehow I'm not surprised that a Godless Lawyer could complicate what is indeed a black and white, free or un-free issue.

Get over yourselves clever people and stop trying to organize and engineer the world for the rest of us. Hard as it is to believe, we can all manage just fine without you.
