I disagree with you LFR, the point of "Black pride", and "Latino Pride", as tacky as it is, is to instill a sense of pride that will encourage some people to break a sense of mental 'inferiority complex' that some people may have that is holding them back from succeeding to the best of their potential. I'm not sold on the validity of the idea, but the motivation behind it is generally good. The danger in it is that it can be used to whip up anger at perceived historical grievances, and create social tensions. (the Black Panthers are an example).
However, "White Pride" is, I believe a different animal. A 'superiority complex' underpins it. We all know what happens when one tribe believes itself to be superior to another tribe.
Anyhow, in this day and age, the whole concept is silly and outdated. Due to the means of travel, and modern communications, a Japanese banker, for example, has more in common with an African banker than he does with a Japanese laundry maid. A French, professional cyclist has more in common with a Latino professional cyclist than he would with a French construction worker.

As to the police I find good and some bad in their ranks, as my late uncle, a detachment commander with the OPP said to me, and which I passed on personally and fittingly to another detachment commander who tried to bully me, "an asshole is still an asshole even in a uniform. Like the detective who lied to us, going back on his word.

There are MELT members I deal with and they are great, one achieved an OLA award at the convention this year for his service to us, and he has a trusting and close relationship with landowner brass.

It is good to understand that the police have to listen to all the pc bullshite and every time they arrest a black rapist, pimp, or drug dealer it is always the same, these miscreants wear their negritude on their sleeves and holler RACISM.

Then they have a bunch of damned lieberal civilian bleeding heart aholes to deal with who know shite aboutt he real world. I have been arrested and found some real aholes in the ranks of crown attorneys, and never cease to be amazed at their arrogance and feeling of being untouchable as they hide behind the system. Would love to meet some of these jerks in the back forty sometime. It is a small world, who knows, could well happen. A person does not gain my respect by what position he has, but by what kind of person he/she is.

What I find ammusing is that about 10 years ago the Toronto Police did a study of criminals by race. Halfway through it , it showed close to 70% of crime was by blacks. Soon as word leaked that the study was in progress the Liberal Nazis fired the cops involved and sent others to "sensitivity sessions".

What is realy amazing is that blacks call each other the "N" word like it is a greeting and discriminate against others for using it. If the word offends them why do they greet each other with "hey Digger whats shaking"?
