Everywhere in this world, you can find in some meetings, people speaking talking about anti bush anti capitalism, "anti everything" discussions.
After watching at everybody in the meeting, i would have say: " how can you criticize the USA and capitalism, all of you drink Coke, you're wearing Jeans, You're watching all the movies from Hollywood, you're smoking Marlborough cigarettes, You got MS windows in Computer, your car is a Ford"...
All these people were like this in these university meetings.

ON the old CBC forums I pointed out to the anti-USA crowd that they were probably using windows....

Wouldn't you know it? Every one of them just happened to be running Linux! Ya, right.

I am not in politics to represent some overseas group or government. Yes, I am a Muslim, but I cannot be held hostage by self-appointed community leaders who have their own hidden agendas."

The typical anti-American "student" believes that magic produces goods and also that magic puts money in their bank accounts. The fact that the magic is called "parents" does not disturb their fancy.

You'll notice that the vast majority of the anti-American crowd are either living off trust funds or are living off their parents or the State. There is a reason for this. Ted Kennedy and Welfare Mama have one very important bedrock thing in common: they have no idea where the money that they live on came from.

Too true. I recall the Hippie Era..............while we working class kids were busy trying to 'get ours', the upper middle class ones were 'renouncing the material world', courtesy of regular cheques from home. :)

RIGHT !

I've seen a guy dressed like a tramp with dread locks hair get on a all new "superbe" car.
These people use to say. "look at all the boss that exploit the world" when they don't see the closest tramps from their all new cars.

Nicolas,

It looks like Condi is coming to Paris. Just thought I'd let you know!

http://www.washtimes.com/world/20050131-102632-5954r.htm

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, determined to confront the diplomatic tensions of President Bush's first term head-on, has chosen Paris as the venue for the main policy speech of her first foreign trip, the State Department said yesterday.
The Feb. 8 address will try to explain to the Europeans the Bush administration's plans for the next four years, emphasizing that any actions it takes will be motivated not by imperial ambitions but by causes and values Europe itself holds dear, such as freedom and democracy, officials said.

Ah yes, the hypcrisy of socialists. Their ideology gives me way to much cognitive dissonance for me to support it in any big way...
The cause of liberty becomes a mockery if the price to be paid is the wholesale destruction of those who are to enjoy liberty.
