Happy Saturday, Gunslingers!

You can wear your guns, but keep them in their holsters, this is a social club.

I'm feeling more like myself again.

I'm still the Tech Wench around here...but I thought I'd revert back to something a little more familiar. :D

Hey, good to see you boss. Sam, pour this lady a glass of milk. (Pssst, Sam, put some Bailey's in it. She won't admit it, but she loves it.)

Mmmm. I wonder why the milk tastes so much better over here than in the restaurant across the street. :?

Kitty and Sam are pretty fussy about quality, boss. They only get their milk from brown cows. Have a couple more glasses and we'll talk about you giving me a raise.

Shore is, Tom!

She's my hero. A strong, resourceful woman who did what needed to be done...but wasn't a feminist.

I hope I'm like her when I grow up.

Aww, thanks, Tom! :)

Hey, you should have an avatar, too. If you tell me what you want, I'll fix you up.

Re Avatar: I dunno Connie. I bin a lot uv things. Logger, trapper, prospector, sheep herder, ranch hand, all before I got married and settled down to a real job.

But I think I liked the prospecting best. Yuh got one like that?

I wrote a book -- sorta. It's in bits and pieces scattered around. I called it: Green Timber, White Water, Yellow Gold. and I subtitled it: And Greener Pastures.

It's aboiut my life. I wrote it so my kids would have something to refer to when they got old enough to think about it. I posted bits and pieces of it over on Free Republic. They seemed to like it.
