I remember Brian from the Unite the Right days, what has been doing all these years?

The Progressive Conservative brand is finished.

In Alberta, the PC party rules and acts like liberals

In Sask, the PC brand has disappeared due to corruption

In Manitoba, it is a party without any leader and no ideas

In Ontario, it is also leaderless, no ideas, and rift with riding association executives paying themselves out of donations for volunteer duties.

In Quebec, non existant

In NB, currently is the government and due to lack of action, has had its credit rating downgraded. This government also lacks vision and dieas.

In NS, non existant

In NFLD fairly reasonable but still too progressive

The Conservative Party of Canada has ruled for most of a decade and has ruled similar to Jean Chretien but without the fiscal constraint.

My verdict, need for regional true conservative alternatives to represent their provinces and wrestle control from Ottawa and the unions.

My verdict in Ontario, Mcquinty will win the by election for a majority. The PC party will be replaced by a regional conservative party (Trillium probably) and the current progressives will move to the liberal party. This new party will be the next government.

MY verdicat in Manitoba, Pallister will lead the PC party to its demise. A new party will be created and in 2 election cycles will form government

Last poll I looked at was a coin toss between Libs & the NDP with the Tories 8 points away. Anyone can win. I'm not a Baillie fan, but he is smart enough to pull out 8 points in a Province that has a long, long Tory history.

I can't see the NDP being re-elected with the debacles they have overseen. In an election campaign next year - everything from the HST hike by .02 when the feds cut it nationally, the scandals, they will feel like a fresh wound across the Province before the upcoming election. Living in one of the old bastions of Torydom, you spit when you mention Dexter's name ::spit::
