OTTAWA —The Office of the Auditor General is refusing to release any more details from their investigation into how politicians manage tax dollars.
Michael Ferguson released the long-awaited audit into the administration of the House of Commons and Senate on Wednesday, but it included much fewer details than expected.
Ferguson’s staff did not audit members of Parliament or their staff, offices or contracts.
The audit found a minority of transactions did not meet oversight standards. Almost seven per cent of House of Commons transactions were not properly authorized, while over five per cent lacked supporting documents................http://thechronicleherald.ca/canada/107 ... ade-public
