BC is a great place, that is why i chose to live here. I decided after the many years that i did my penance in Alberta that i would go back to the sea of my youth.
Sadly i have to live with socialism but fortunately am sequestered in a rural area where there are some real down to earth people. I NEVER go near Vancouver.
I am of an age now that even the specter of an NDP government means little to me in the real world, more on principle.
