That's not very nice. Moreso now in this recessed, depressed economy we live with, people take the jobs they can get. For a lot of people that is telemarketing. You know good and well it is not their fault nor should they be the ones to take the verbal beating for your distaste for telemarketers - if you feel that strongly, just pre-empt whatever they say with "Let me speak to your supervisor", then tell the next person you want to speak to THEIR supervisor. Ask for their name and ID number. Then tell that person how you feel and request to be removed from their call list.
So do you think that the KGB rank and file are not responsible for following orders to murder innocent people?

You miss the point or rather perhaps you do not realize that ignorance is a voluntary misfortune. First of all, I am not nice to people who misrepresent products and take advantage of vulnerable people. Second, they realize that what they are doing is deceptive but do not care as long as they get their damned dollar. Third, I do not want anyone calling me to sell products, if I want something, I will buy it.
They are as guilty as their bosses, but it seems you like to defend guilt by saying one should be nice to such people. LIke I said before, by your logic, the people who gassed Jews were not guilty because they were told to do so by their bosses. You think that immoral acts then are fine if oyur boss tells you to do them. Give your head a shake and stop letting your moth make an a complete ass of your face.
